As I'm sure you've noticed, the website has been at a virtual standstill these days. Don't worry, we've noticed, too. And that'll change- eventually.

For the next month or so, though, y'all shouldn't really get your hopes up. Zephy and I will be busy with NaNoWriMo, and pounding out comics won't really be our top priority. Unless I get really sick of NaNo, hop on the computer, and pull something out of the lower end of my digestive tract just for a break.

It's short for National Novel Writing Month (although it's far from national, as people from over seventy different countries participated last year). What will Zephy and I be doing instead of dishing up the humor? Writing 50,000 word novels. Or trying, at least. Head to the website and join us. Well, we have a new artist under my employ. And by employ, I mean I asked him to come help us out.

It's kinda weird, cause I hardly know the kid, but... Oh wellz.

Hokay, so.

I just bet y'all are peein' yer pants with excitement- ZOMG, a tablet, comics everyday! Because who doesn't want to see me draw, right? Well, sadly, it's not meant to be. I'll be working on spiffing up the Character Profile page so I'll be pretty slow getting actual comics up.

In the meantime, though,to keep you busy- I'm dead serious about that guy in our last comic. The first person who can tell me his real name gets a pretty picture. Bonus points if you can list for me at least three ways that he dies. ;]

Yeah, so I know we've been pretty much dead around here for the last two weeks or so. The writer and I do actually have excuses, but either way you're still without a comic to obsess over, and besides, there're a couple of ideas rolling around over here, so maybe we'll get around to doing something soon.

So, we've only got a few fans, but I was thinking about having a fanart contest!

I don't know what the prize will be for the winner, but... It'll probably be mediocre to okay at best!

I know this will sound totally random, but I wanna give a shout-out to one Jeff from Meijer. If you're reading this, Jeff, hooray you found the website, hope you like; if you're not, then the people with analog watches better start counting the seconds until the ensuing space-time paradox causes the universe to asplode.

It's called school, and it generally sucks. My classes, in general, are screwed to hell, and I only got one that I asked for.

So, after that all gets sorted out, expect Awesome to flow like spaghetti down the river Stix.

Obviously the comic is looking rather sub-par right now, and I just wanted to make it clear that I'm aware of this. I'm still experimenting with methods of getting it all spiffed and shiny, and the system I'd had worked out is now kaput thanks to my lack of PhotoShop.
